Handmade wrap skirt
This beautiful fair trade skirt is made by women artisans in South India.
Kalamkari is the art of painting cotton fabrics with a kalam (literally kalam means pen and kari, art), a sharp pointed bamboo stick padded with hair or cotton and tied with a string on one end to regulate the flow of colour.
Vegetable dyes only are used to colour the designs applied on cloth.
One size fits most.
Ankle length skirt comes in 4 patterns.
